Violet’s step-sister is a foil to her sister in many ways. Whip-smart, razor-sharp Bridget has always been the wunderkind and trophy child of the family; Bridget took her BA in Psychology and went straight into graduate school at UCLA, where she is getting her masters in Anthropology. Where Bridget falls short is men. She’s never had a real boyfriend, never been in love, and all these one night stands and month-long bouts of hooking up are starting to get old fast. Though she looks like she has it completely together at first glance, Bridget is just as confused as Violet.
Bridget’s mom married Violet’s dad when the girls where very young. Perhaps adding to Bridget’s insecurities, her biological father is no longer in the picture. Violet’s dad adopted Bridget, so both their last names are March.
